Phoenixville, PA - A new training course in the Person to Person e-learning series has been announced by the venture partners who are the producers of the series. Entitled Person to Person: Bottom-Line Diversity, the new one-hour course was announced by Kim Eberbach, Vice President of Organizational Learning for Concentrics, Inc. of Phoenixville, PA and Jeff Davidson, President of webLearning.com, Fairfield, NJ. The course will be available for delivery in July, 2000.

Eberbach announced that the course was developed in collaboration with noted Diversity expert David Tulin of Tulin DiversiTeam Associates. "We are fortunate to have David's hands-on input to our new e-learning course," she said, "because his knowledge and expertise in the diversity field are second to none. This course teaches learners how diversity can make the bottom line either appreciate or depreciate, depending on how they value it."

Jeff Davidson, whose firm provides the technical solutions for the course said, "The new course combines audio, video, and graphic technologies, and makes ample use of interactive exercises. It will be available in both high and low bandwidth versions. The high bandwidth version uses streaming video scenes to teach employees that diversity as a strategy can improve productivity and profits."

Person to Person: Bottom-Line Diversity is a customizable course that can be deployed to accommodate various corporate infrastructures. The course is designed to run through the Internet, on Lotus LearningSpace, corporate intranets, and/or as a hosted solution. It can be delivered to employees at their convenience, anywhere, at any time. Like the other Person to Person courses, Person to Person: Bottom-Line Diversity can be customized to include each company's diversity policies and procedures, delivering a course that fits a company's unique culture. Moreover, this delivery strategy allows for continuous and immediate updates, as company policies change, or new insights are developed.

Ms. Eberbach pointed out that diversity training is a growing priority for employers. "It's more important for employers to provide diversity training now because the universe of employees, customers and suppliers is more diverse," she said. "In a labor market where applicants are scarce, candidates are also less likely to match traditional backgrounds. Corporations are becoming global and their employees need to recognize that they must adapt to different cultures and customers."

Person to Person is a series of e-Learning courses designed to be customized for individual clients. Other Person to Person courses include Sexual Harassment Prevention, Preventing Workplace Violence and Ethical Choices at Work.
