Jeff Davidson of webLearning.com Phoenixville, PA - The producers of the Person to Person e-learning training courses have released versions of the courses on CD-ROM. Both the well-received Person to Person: Sexual Harassment Prevention and Person to Person: Bottom-Line Diversity courses are now available in a version that is playable in any PC with a minimum of 32 MBs of RAM and a CD-ROM drive, running Microsoft Windows 95 or higher. The two one-hour courses have been available for the past year on the worldwide web and for deployment on corporate intranets. The release on CD-ROM-which is available for delivery immediately-means that these engaging, interactive training courses can be used independently of any computer networking. The joint developers, Andrew Mozenter, President of Concentrics, Inc. of Phoenixville, PA, and Jeff Davidson, President of webLearning.com, Fairfield, NJ, in announcing the new delivery method said the CD-ROM versions make these two courses readily available to smaller organizations that are not equipped with a Learning Management System infrastructure, particularly those where employees are geographically dispersed, or who have other obstacles to attending classroom style training. They also will serve larger organizations with scattered employees who are not networked together. Previously, in year 2000, under the Person to Person label, the companies teamed up to produce the highly successful sexual harassment awareness e-learning course entitled Person to Person: Sexual Harassment Prevention. That course, which centers on creating respect in the workplace, has been licensed to such major corporations as Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Marriott International, the Lotus Corporation and Safeguard Scientifics. Earlier this year the team developed Person to Person: Bottom-Line Diversity in collaboration with nationally recognized diversity expert David P. Tulin of Tulin DiversiTeam Associates, Wyncote, PA. This course provides a broader view of diversity, going beyond race and gender to include such factors as communication style, work style and work-family balance. The course also provides a hands-on set of tools to help achieve diversity appreciation.
